At the Forest
Pacuare Lodge: most probably, the lodge that has accumulated more accolades in Costa Rica. Pacuare Lodge is so immersed in the jungle that the only way to get there is by rafting in and out. There is no electricity and you will be surrounded by bugs and yet, it will also be the most spectacular place you´ve ever been to. A “once in a lifetime experience”. See the National Geographic article on why Pacuare Lodge is so spectacular.
Lapa Rios: technically a beach lodge, Lapa Rios is located so far up the mountain that it feels more like a mountain lodge. Condé Nast has awarded Lapa Rios a part of the Gold List hotels.
El Silencio Lodge: recognized by Condé Nast´s Reader´s Choice Awards as one of the Best 20 Resorts in Central and South America and awarded a Star Rating by Forbes, El Silencio Lodge is one of our favorite mountain and jungle lodges because it is immersed within wonderful greenery and wilderness.
