Unusual Places to See in Costa Rica

When it comes to creating your Costa Rica Vacation Package, you will probably want to include the best known places in Costa Rica. Arenal, Manuel Antonio and Monteverde may be on your list along with Guanacaste areas such as Tamarindo Beach.

Now, before booking we would love for you to know about other fabulous places in Costa Rica.

Corcovado and Osa Peninsula

Very remote and immerse within the jungle, Osa Peninsula is Costa Rica´s ultimate nature showcase. The Corcovado National Park hosts all 4 species of monkeys, tapir, jaguars, puma, a whole lot of birds and many other mammals. A nature hike at Corcovado is definitely high on our list of fun things to do in Costa Rica.

One of the best beaches in Costa Rica, Nosara is hard to reach (you will have to go through 1 hour of gravel road) but the ride here is well worth it. Playa Guiones (Guiones beach) provides miles of white sand and wild waves´ pleasure. Surfing is the main attraction here, but foodies will also appreciate the exquisite array of organic foods and meals. At Nosara, Harmony Hotel is the perfect choice of beachfront lodging.

Rancho Humo Guanacaste

The very diverse Palo Verde National Park is hardly visited. The ride here can be uncomfortable and long. But now there is way to get there without so much hustle: you can include a visit to Rancho Humo and be so close to Palo Verde that you may include a half day tour and many other activities during your stay. This 1.100 hectare property hosts the largest bird in Central America, a mangrove and a river and it is very close to Venado Caverns, where you can do spelunkin.
