Rancho Humo

Located deep in the Wetlands, this place is Paradise for birdwatchers. There is no better place to watch the Jabiru and other magnificent species.

ancho Humo was conceived as a Hacienda, where the owners would escape from city mayhem to rest. Out of 1000 hectares, 800 hectares are Wetlands: one of the richest ecosystems in Costa Rica and also one of the best places to visit in Costa Rica.

The hotel is small and luxurious, especially its Junior Suites. The food is exquisitely served at what used to be the house´s dining room, and so you get the feeling that you are here invited as a guest, not as a customer. All your meals are included, and there is plenty to do while you are there. We especially recommend a tour to Tres Pajaros Island and another tour to the Wetlands.
